Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor who is well known for his character on the tv show Law & Order Special Victims Unit. From the time he was in college Christopher Meloni was fascinated by the world of acting. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. His television characters are gaining him lots of popularity. This is not surprising since his characters have been able to capture the attention of viewers by playing characters that are either sides of the law. He was the serial killer role in his debut television show as well as later portrayed as an NYPD detective. The actor has been nominated several times for prestigious Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his smaller screen performance. His most attractive facial feature is believed to be his distinctive blue eyes, which are considered to be his trademark. They have aided in depicting the rough and savage characters with a sense of humour. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
